Karen and John Michaels provide unmatched hospitality and have been recognized as super hosts by Airbnb as well as independent travelers. The lodge was built in the late 1800’s, and has been thoughtfully and caringly renovated by the innkeepers.
Located near the base of the Blue Ridge Mountain Range, the equally traditional and quirky lodge is complete with homemade breakfast featuring Farm Fresh eggs every morning, quick access to nearby attractions like the Auto Racing Hall of Fame, Lazy Five Ranch, Go-Pro Motorplex, Carrigan Farms Swim Quarry and of course, beautiful Lake Norman.
High Speed Fiber optic internet access is included throughout the property as well as free entertainment every day thanks to our on-site (and very friendly) chickens.
